Welcome spring!

With the changing temperatures of spring, you’ll want to start wearing shorts, t-shirts and planning your next vacation. So, now is the time to get in shape. Mark Health 360 has three exercises you can do at home to tone your body.

Ab Roller crunch:

This dynamic exercise using the ab roller effectively tones the inner walls of the abdominal muscles. To perform, make slight movements forward, holding on to the roller. If you do not have a roller, you can start by using two small towels under your hands, which allow you to slide your arms forward, so you can control the extension and force as well as increase the range of motion. Perform 10 to 15 repetitions.

Isometric squat:

This squat is an exercise that reduces localized fat. The resistance and force that the body exerts during the execution make the adipose tissue work as an energy source. Lean your back against a wall to start the squat, spread your legs shoulder-width apart, squat with your legs at a 90 – degree angle, and hold the position for 30 seconds, increasing the time to your ability

Hip Raise:

Lying on your back, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, raise your hips and hold them up for a few seconds. To increase the difficulty, you can straighten one leg, raise your hips, and squeeze your glutes and hold. Repeat the movement with the other leg. It is recommended to perform 3 sets of 15 to 20 repetitions.
