They are also perfect for enjoying hot summer days, thanks to their ideal combination of fruits and other ingredients.

What is a smoothie?

It is a beverage made with different chopped fruits blended with water, milk, yogurt, or ice cream. The difference with a regular shake is in its creaminess. They can be taken at any time of the day due to their great nutritional and healthy content. In some cases, depending on the combination of ingredients, they can be helpful to provide your body with the needed level of nutrients.

How is it done?

The preparation of a SMOOTHIE is simple. First, add the ingredient of choice to a blender. Then add the liquid of choice: water, milk, yogurt, or ice cream and blend until obtaining a beverage with a smooth and creamy texture. If you want to drink it cold, add ice while the ingredients are mixing.

Here we recommend three easy, delicious and nutritious smoothie recipes to beat the heat and enjoy a delightful beverage:


20 strawberries, 1 glass of milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 ice cubes, 1 strawberry yogurt.
Wash the strawberries, cut them into pieces, blend all the ingredients in the blender, and add ice to your liking.


100 gr of strawberry, 100 gr of blackberries, 100 gr of raspberries, 200 ml of natural yogurt, 200 ml of unsweetened cranberry juice, and 1 cup of crushed ice.
Wash and disinfect all your berries, mix all the ingredients in a blender and add ice to your liking.


6 kiwis, 2 bananas, 400 ml of orange juice, and 250 gr of nonfat yogurt.
Remove the peel from the bananas and kiwis, add the orange juice and yogurt, and mix. Serve immediately in individual glasses.
