Natural allies for long hair

Most women want to have long, shiny, hydrated and healthy hair. However, having long hair is complicated to achieve. For some women, their hair only grows 5 centimeters (2 inches) in a year.

Climate change, hormonal problems, and stress could be the reason why their hair does not grow. However, there is hope for them, found in nature and our grandmothers’ secrets to long and silky hair.

Aloe vera:

Cut aloe crystals into pieces and blend them into a foamy consistency. Add four tablespoons of olive or coconut oil, and then apply the mixture to the scalp. Let it sit for 40 minutes.

Ginger and cinnamon:

Heat 1 cup of water in a bowl and then add three tablespoons of cinnamon and ginger powder, each. Let it rest, and then remove the excess particles with a colander. Apply the solution to the scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes.

Onion oil:

Cut ½ of a red onion into pieces, then crush them. In a saucepan, add 2 cups of coconut, olive or sunflower oil, and heat on the stove over low heat. Gradually add the onion pieces and let it cook for 45 minutes. Let the mixture rest overnight. The next day pass the mixture through a strainer and apply the onion oil to the scalp.

Remember, scalp massage helps

You should massage the scalp during the application of each preparation, and let it sit for about 30 to 40 minutes. Rinse thoroughly afterward. These treatments can be applied once a week.
