Homemade banana ice cream
- 2 Cups of plant-based milk (coconut, almond, oatmeal, or soy)
- 5 Bananas (cut and frozen previously)
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
In a blender, add the frozen bananas first, then the milk, the vanilla, and the cinnamon. Blend all the ingredients until obtaining a creamy mixture. Serve in a glass container and add blueberries, strawberries, or other fruit for your healthy dessert of the day.
Gratin Brussels sprouts
- 1 kilo of Brussels sprouts
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ lemon
- Feta cheese, mozzarella, or grated vegan cheese
Cook the Brussels sprouts for 8 minutes in boiling water. After letting them rest for a few minutes in cold water with lemon, fry with olive oil until golden brown. Prepare the container to take them to the oven, and sprinkle the cheese, covering the Brussels sprouts very well.
Bake in a preheated oven at about 200 ° C (392 ° F) for 15 minutes until the cheese has gratinated on the surface. When the cheese is melted, they are ready to serve.
